Beef and Bacon Patties

Ingredients

½ pound bacon 1 pound ground beef 1 teaspoon sea salt, or to taste 1 teaspoon garlic powder 1 teaspoon onion powder ground black pepper, to taste 1 tablespoon avocado oil

Instructions

1. Place bacon in your food processor and pulse gently. If you want to dice the bacon by hand, make sure to cut the bacon very small.

2. Place beef and bacon in a large bowl. Add salt and spices. Combine ingredients well, then form into patties.

3. Patties can be cooked on the grill or the stovetop. If using the grill, preheat to medium-high. If using the stove, heat oil in a skillet over high heat.

4. Place burgers on grill or in skillet and cook for 3 minutes. Flip and cook for 3 minutes on the other side until medium rare, or longer if you prefer your patties well done.
