Chicken Souvlaki

Ingredients

1 pound chicken breast ⅛ cup extra virgin olive oil 1 tablespoon minced garlic 1 ½ tablespoons lemon juice 1 ½ tablespoons dried oregano 1 teaspoon sea salt ⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

1. Slice chicken breasts into tenders.

2. Mix together olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, oregano, salt, and pepper to make the marinade.

3. Place chicken in marinade and place in fridge for a minimum of 2 hours, or up to overnight.

4. Chicken can be grilled or baked. To bake, preheat oven to broil. Place chicken on a baking sheet and broil for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through.

5. To grill, preheat grill to medium-high heat. Cook chicken for 5-7 minutes on each side, until cooked through.

6. Make sure chicken is cooked until an internal temperature of 165F is reached.
