Chili Mac

Ingredients

¼ onion ½ pound ground beef 1 tablespoon minced garlic 1 tablespoon chili powder 1 tablespoon cumin ½ teaspoon sea salt, to taste ground black pepper, to taste 10 ounces diced tomatoes with green chiles 8 ounces gluten free elbow macaroni 2 cups chicken broth 1 cup water

Instructions

1. Peel and dice onion.

2. In a pot over medium heat, brown ground beef with garlic and onions.

3. Once beef is cooked through, add chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Cook for a few more minutes to let the flavors meld.

4. Add diced tomatoes, pasta, broth, and water. Stir well, then bring to a boil.

5. Once boiling, cover and lower heat to medium-low. Simmer for 10-12 minutes, until noodles are cooked through.
