Energizing Chia Seed Drink

Ingredients

2 lemons 4 cups water 2 tablespoons hibiscus leaves 4 teaspoons green tea 1 cup blackberries 6 tablespoons honey 6 tablespoons chia seeds

Instructions

1. Juice lemons.

2. Heat the water until it’s boiling, then remove from the heat. Add the hibiscus and green tea and steep for 3 minutes before straining the herbs out.

3. Place the blackberries in the cheesecloth and squeeze the juice out very thoroughly into the tea.

4. Add the lemon juice and raw honey to the tea, stirring well until everything is combined. Add the chia seeds and stir again.

5. Put the drink in the fridge, and stir it again after 30 minutes or so to prevent the chia seeds from clumping at the bottom.

6. The seeds will be hydrated and the drink ready after 6 hours, or overnight.

7. Shake well before drinking and keep refrigerated.
