Goulash

Ingredients

1 small onion 1 pound ground beef, or turkey 2 teaspoons minced garlic 1 cup water ½ cup beef broth 15 ounces tomato sauce 15 ounces diced tomatoes ½ teaspoon dried basil ½ teaspoon dried oregano ½ teaspoon dried thyme 1 ½ teaspoons Adobo seasoning 1 bay leaf 1 teaspoon sea salt ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper, plus more to taste 1 cup gluten free elbow macaroni

Instructions

1. Peel and dice onion.

2. Sauté ground meat in a skillet over medium ­high heat.

3. Add garlic, onions, and sauté for a few more minutes.

4. Add water, broth, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and seasonings. Mix well.

5. Lower heat and cover. Allow to cook for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

6. Add uncooked macaroni to the skillet and stir well until everything is combined. Cover again and allow to simmer for about 30 minutes.

7. Remove bay leaves and serve.
