Korean Beef Skewers

Ingredients

skewer sticks 1 inch fresh ginger 2 green onions 2 teaspoons minced garlic 3 tablespoons honey ¾ cup coconut aminos 3 tablespoons sesame seeds 2 tablespoons sesame oil 2 tablespoons white wine 1 ½ pounds beef flank steak

Instructions

1. Soak skewers in water for a few hours. Chop ginger and green onions.

2. Place all ingredients (aside from steak and skewers) in a medium bowl. Whisk until well combined.

3. Thinly slice beef flank steak, then cut into two inch pieces.

4. Marinate sliced beef in a covered glass container in the fridge for 1-2 hours (no more than 4).

5. Skewer several pieces of beef on to the bamboo stick/skewer - each piece will need to be threaded.

6. Grill on the BBQ until medium-well done. If baking in the oven, preheat to 425F and bake for 15-18 minutes.

7. Make sure beef is cooked through until an internal temperature of 145F is reached.
