Maple Chicken Breakfast Sausage

Ingredients

1 pound ground chicken 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup 1 teaspoon sea salt 1 teaspoon dried sage 1 teaspoon dried parsley ½ teaspoon garlic powder ½ teaspoon onion powder ½ teaspoon ground black pepper ½ teaspoon dried thyme ¼ teaspoon nutmeg ¼ teaspoon ground cloves ⅛ teaspoon red pepper flakes 1 tablespoon avocado oil, or fat of choice

Instructions

1. In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients (except avocado oil). Mix until all ingredients are well-incorporated.

2. Form into patties.

3. Melt avocado oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering.

4. In small batches, cook until browned on both sides, cooked all the way through, and an internal temperature of 165F is reached. Serve.
