Protein Berry Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients

4 small bananas 4 cups frozen strawberries, or raspberries 1 cup boxed coconut milk ½ cup vanilla protein powder 4 teaspoons flaxseeds, optional ¼ cup coconut flakes, optional ¼ cup slivered almonds, optional

Instructions

1. Peel, slice, and freeze banana.

2. Place frozen berries and banana in a high-speed blender or food processor and blitz on low for about 30 seconds.

3. Add coconut milk and protein powder and blend on low again, scraping down sides as needed, until the mixture reaches a soft-serve consistency.

4. Add more milk if necessary, to reach desired consistency.

5. Transfer into a serving bowl and top with flaxseeds, coconut flakes, and almonds.
