Slow Cooker Turkey Chili

Ingredients

1 tablespoon olive oil 1 pound lean ground turkey 1 medium onion, (diced) 1 red bell pepper, (seeded stemmed and chopped) 1 yellow bell pepper, (chopped) 30 ounces tomato sauce 30 ounces petite diced tomatoes 30 ounces cooked black beans, (rinsed and drained) 30 ounces cooked kidney beans, (rinsed and drained) 8 ounces jalapeƱo peppers, peppers (drained) 2 cups frozen corn 2 tablespoons chili powder 1 tablespoon cumin sea salt and ground black pepper, (to taste) green onion, (shredded cheese avocado sour cream/Greek yogurt)

Instructions

1. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat. Place turkey in the skillet, and cook until brown. Pour turkey into slow cooker.

2. Add the onion, peppers, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, beans, jalapeƱos, corn, chili powder, and cumin. Stir and season with salt and pepper.

3. Cover and cook on High for 4 hours or low for 6 hours. Serve with toppings, if desired.
