Steamed Swiss Chard

Ingredients

2 bunches swiss chard 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil sea salt, to taste ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Fold each chard leaf in half, slicing alongside the center stalk to remove most of the fibrous bit. Chop the leaves finely.

2. Rinse well, then place the still-wet chard in large pan over medium high heat. Cover and cook for 1-2 minutes until chard is bright green and beginning to wilt.

3. Stir in olive oil. Season with salt and black pepper. Serve immediately.
