Stir-fried Broccolini

Ingredients

1 bunch broccolini, or rapine or broccoli 4 tablespoons tamari 1 tablespoon light miso paste 1 teaspoon cane sugar 1 tablespoon avocado oil 1 tablespoon minced garlic

Instructions

1. Wash the broccolini and shake off excess water. Chop the stalks into 1 inch pieces and set aside. Chop the leaves into bite-size pieces.

2. In a small bowl, mix the tamari, miso, and sugar until the miso is fully incorporated.

3. Heat a wok or large skillet over a high flame. Swirl in the oil.

4. Add garlic and stir briefly, until sizzling and fragrant. If broccolini stalks are very thick, add them to the pan first, stirring for 1-2 minutes before adding the leaves.

5. Otherwise, add both stalks and leaves to pan, followed by the sauce.

6. Stir and toss vegetables frequently until leaves are wilted and stalks are tender, about 3-5 minutes.
