Sweet Garlic Chicken

Ingredients

2 pounds chicken breasts 4 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, plus more for drizzling 2 teaspoons sea salt 1 teaspoon ground black pepper 2 tablespoons minced garlic 4 tablespoons cane sugar

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 450F.

2. Place chicken breasts in baking dish. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle both sides with salt and pepper.

3. In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic. Cook about 2 minutes. Turn off the heat and add the sugar, stirring until combined.

4. Spread the sugar mixture evenly over each chicken piece on the side that is facing up.

5. Bake chicken for 15-20 minutes until an internal temperature of 165F is reached. Remove and serve.
